Privacy Policy

SoundCraft is operated by Alexander Langenberg, Forsmannstrasse 20, Hamburg, Germany. You can contact us at support@soundcraft.shop.

This Privacy Policy explains how SoundCraft collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit the website, create an account, search artists, save artists, create or view collaboration requests, purchase a subscription, or contact us.

Data you provide

When you create an account or profile, we may process your email address, username, role, profile details, bio, selected goals, request types, genres, tags, public social or platform links, collaboration requests, saved artists, collections, preferences, and support messages.

Account and login data

Authentication is handled through Supabase Auth and may include email login and Google login. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider and are not stored by SoundCraft in plain text.

Artist discovery data

SoundCraft organizes artist names, public profile links, scene memberships, tags, images, size signals, similarity edges, and provider metadata. Some information may come from public sources or third-party providers such as Spotify, Last.fm, and MusicBrainz. Provider data may be cached, refreshed, removed, or shown with attribution where required.

Collaboration requests

If you create a request, we process the request text, genre, tags, requested file type, budget or price range, usage preference, links, contact email, Instagram or other social links, and related profile information so other users can discover and respond to it.

Payments and subscriptions

Payments, subscriptions, invoices, taxes, and checkout are handled through Shopify, Appstle, and their payment providers. SoundCraft does not store full payment card numbers. We may store plan status, subscription status, checkout references, and billing-related account state so paid features can be unlocked.

How we use data

We use personal data to provide the service, show search results, save artists, manage accounts, process payments, prevent abuse, improve the product, provide support, comply with legal obligations, and protect SoundCraft and its users.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential browser storage for login sessions, saved preferences, theme settings, and basic app functionality. Analytics, marketing pixels, or advertising cookies may be added later only where configured and legally required consent is collected.

Who receives data

We may share data with service providers that help us run SoundCraft, including Supabase, Shopify, Appstle, hosting providers, email providers, analytics providers if enabled, and payment processors. We may also disclose information where required by law or needed to protect users and the service.

Public profile and request data

Some profile information, public links, artist-style tags, and collaboration requests may be visible to other users when you choose to publish them. Do not add private information you do not want other users to see.

Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal duties, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and keep billing records. You can request deletion, but some records may need to be retained where legally required.

Your rights

Depending on your location, including the EU/EEA, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, receive a copy of your data, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, contact support@soundcraft.shop.

Security

We use third-party authentication, access controls, and database security rules to protect data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should keep your login credentials private and contact us if you suspect misuse.

Children

SoundCraft is not intended for children under the age required to use online services in their country. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version applies from the date shown on this page.
